Dan Snow is a historian, BAFTA-winning broadcaster and television presenter.
He lives and breathes history and believes passionately that we overlook it at our peril:

Tickets were available from Browsers Bookshop and The Riverside Cinema, £22 to include a copy of the book (RRP £14.99) which will be presented on the night. One additional ticket, with no book, could be purchased for £15.
The event sold out weeks ahead of the night with a number of people on the waiting list for returns left disappointed.
